So why did I name my blog “Thousands of Miles”? Well to make a long story short:
•I love to travel to far off places and have traveled thousands of miles across the globe. I hope there will be many more miles added in the coming years. So expect to read blog posts about my travels!
•When I started this blog I was single and planning to move thousands of miles away from home. I was making serious plans to migrate from Europe to America, when suddenly love found me here. Now I can’t imagine moving away. But getting to this point, and letting go of my dream to move across the globe, has been a long journey!
•Life’s road can (though not always literally) consist of thousands of miles. Thousands of miles of learning, thousands of miles of thinking, thousands of miles of praying, thousands of miles of growing. Know what I mean? Life is like a long road and God is like our GPS system. He guides us. He tells us where to take a turn and how to get to our destinations. He also makes sure we get back on track if we have taken a wrong turn or wandered off-route. So I’ll be sure to also share with you through this blog some of the adventures I have with God.
•I am a runner and love hitting the road. I’m covering quite a few miles each month. I’ll also be blogging about my running adventures.
